Araghchi: Iran's Power Today Is Indebted to the Struggles of the Self-Sacrificing Armed Forces

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, in a message commemorating Army Day, emphasized, "Undoubtedly, Iran's power today on the international stage and the successes of the diplomatic apparatus in safeguarding the country's interests are indebted to the tireless struggles and sacrifices of the self-sacrificing armed forces."

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sayed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in a message on the occasion of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Day, described this day as a valuable opportunity to honor the bravery, selflessness, and sacrifices of the proud sons of this land in the four branches of the glorious Army.

In this message, addressed to General Hatami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, he said, "In these days when our beloved country is in the midst of one of its most decisive historical periods, and the intelligent and powerful role-playing of the armed forces is more than ever manifested in safeguarding national interests and maintaining the country's stability and security, I sincerely congratulate the arrival of Farvardin 29 (April 18), the Army Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to Your Excellency and all the devoted fighters and soldiers of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

He added, "This day is a valuable opportunity to honor the bravery, selflessness, and sacrifices of the proud sons of this land in the four branches of the glorious Army, who, alongside other armed forces, have spared no effort in protecting the integrity of Islamic Iran."

Araghchi continued, "The security and power of the country stem from the steadfast will, sincere intention, and perseverance of the brave men who have carried out the protection of borders and safeguarding of national interests in the most worthy manner. Undoubtedly, Iran's power today on the international stage and the successes of the diplomatic apparatus in safeguarding the country's interests are indebted to the tireless struggles and sacrifices of the self-sacrificing armed forces."

He emphasized, "My colleagues and I at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs honor the memory of the bravery of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in confronting the aggressor enemies in various eras, especially in the recent decisive battles, and we reaffirm our firm resolve to continue interaction, synergy, and convergence with the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

In conclusion, Araghchi said, "Paying tribute to the exalted martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, I beseech the powerful and merciful God for the victory and honor of the Iranian nation, the armed forces, and the diplomatic apparatus."
